Core Faculty

danielDaniel Adjepong (CEO and Managing Consultant) is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with a wealth of experience in delivering and coaching in the delivery of Lean Six Sigma business improvement projects. As a Business Improvement Practitioner, he has delivered on very strategic capacity building and cost reduction LSS projects and has also led major process design and reengineering efforts. Daniel holds an MSc in Engineering Business Management from Coventry. He is also a certified PRINCE2 Project Manager and has delivered successfully on multi-million dollar telecommunications projects. Daniel currently trains and consults for some major player across a vast array of industries in Ghana and beyond.


paulPaul Campion is a trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with nearly 10 years hard won experience in the application of Lean Six Sigma in major multinationals and multi billion dollar companies. As a Business Improvement Manager, Paul has overseen the strategic delivery of new production systems in company-wide functions including Sales, Engineering and Production whilst working in locations as diverse as South America, Japan and Western Europe. Paul has delivered training from shop floor to the boardroom, led business wide Continuous Improvement projects and coached change agents from the machine room to the finance office.


kofiKofi Akuoku has over 15 years experience and expertise in the fields of Quality Engineering, and Quality Management. He has extensively used Lean Six Sigma approaches to help companies to achieve breakthrough improvements in profitability, productivity and customer satisfaction across automotive, aerospace and the medical device industries in Canada and in the US. Kofi holds an MBA (Purdue University, USA), MSc In Quality Engineering & Management (Eastern Michigan University, MI, USA) and Master of Engineering In Manufacturing Systems (Lawrence Technological University, MI, USA). He received his first Six Sigma Black Belt training through America Society of Quality (ASQ) in 2001 and further rigorous training in 2008 working with United Technology. He is one of the founding members of Ghana Quality Organization, a Senior Member of ASQ and a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.


michaelMichael Flowers is a Chartered Engineer; a Professional Doctorate in Engineering (DEng) Fellow at the School of Computing and Technology, University of Gloucestershire, United Kingdom; holder of Master of Science in Systems Engineering (with focus on Advanced Manufacturing Systems) from Brunel University London, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physics from the University of Ghana; and a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), United Kingdom. Flowers, CEO of Flowers School of Technology and Management, United Kingdom, Germany and Ghana, has an excellent record of 20 combined years of experience in offering training and consultancy as well as actively conducting research and consultancy in quality engineering, engineering systems, advanced manufacturing systems, innovation and technology, global manufacturing systems, enterprise engineering, sustainable manufacturing, quality optimisation, wind energy systems and sustainable development, business process optimisation, business development, professional development qualifications, entrepreneurship, energy and the environment, strategic leadership, and lean engineering.

Flowers’ publishing portfolio features at least six books, engineering systems articles in journals, conferences and conference proceedings such as the Institution of Mechanical Engineers; Journal of Engineering Manufacture; e-Engineering and Digital Technology; Journal of Applied Mechanics and Materials; International Journal of Internet Manufacturing and Services; Advances in Manufacturing Technology; and the International Conference on Innovative Production Machines and Systems.

vanessaDr. Vanessa Tetteh has extensive experience as a trainer, lecturer, researcher, editor and writer. She has a PhD in Tourism Education and Training, and a BSc (Hons) in Management and French from the University of Buckingham (UK). Vanessa has trained and lectured in Service Management, Hospitality, Teamworking, Communication Skills and Frontline Effectiveness, among others. She also has rich consultancy experience with organisations and beneficiaries such as Ricerca e Cooperazione, SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, Winrock International, Ghana Museums and Monuments Board, Ghana Tourism Authority, and Ghana West Coast. Her portfolio of writings includes books and articles published by Oxford University Press, EBSCO Publishing (USA), and the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. Dr. Tetteh also has work experience in hotels, travel agency operations, and large-scale market research projects. In 2011, she served as a British Academy Visiting Scholar at Sheffield Hallam University (UK).


tilmannDr. Tilmann Sören Lindberg (Dipl.-Kfm., MA) is one of the pioneering researchers on Design Thinking, a comprehensive innovation and creativity approach developed at the University of Stanford (US) and the internationally renowned design agency IDEO. Based at one of Germany’s leading IT institutes, the HassoPlattner Institute in Potsdam, Lindberg was affiliated to the HPI-Stanford Design Thinking Research Program and investigated implementation strategies of design thinking in large-scale IT companies. He was part of the founding team of the HPI-School of Design Thinking and has experience in training, facilitating and conducting design-thinking projects in collaboration with companies and public organizations. Furthermore, he worked as an assistant lecturer for General Management, Creative Organizations and TV Production at the University of Potsdam (Germany).


yugankYugank Bhardwaj holds an MBA degree from Pforzheim University, Germany, and a Bachelor in Marine Engineering from the Marine Engineering and Research Institute, India. He has extensive experience in a wide range of projects and has worked in various management disciplines such as Innovation, Sustainability, IT and Taxation, Audit and compliance, FCPA, New Market Entry, M&As and Joint Ventures, Brands, Change, Entrepreneurship etc. With research interests in Complexity and Innovation, Sustainability and Business, Marine Systems, Emerging Markets, Change Management and Complex Organisational Structures, and Project Management.
A sought-after consultant who has undertaken projects in more than thirty countries, Yugank’s accreditations also include delivering expert seminars at the University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg, and the University of Applied Sciences, Munich, across multi-disciplinary fields and lectures in summer schools. He has developed postgraduate level professional courses in Project Management, Innovation and Technology Management, Change Management, Sustainability Management.
